Hemp Pesto

If your food is missing an extra kick of flavour, this one’s a keeper for you! Hemp pesto is quick to make and delicious to taste— it's basically the perfect marriage of health and taste for your sandwiches, salads and bowls.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1/2 cup pine nuts

1/4 cup hemp seeds

2 cups fresh basil leaves (washed and dried)

2 garlic cloves small

1/2 lemon juice

2 tbs hemp oil (or any of your choice)

1/3 cup nutritional yeast

Salt (to taste)


Let’s get cooking:  

  • Combine all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth and refrigerate to consume for up to 5 days.
