Garlic Mushrooms

Buttery garlic mushrooms with a flavor twist! The herb garlic butter sauce is so good, you’ll be serving these mushrooms with everything!

Here’s what you’ll need

  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 an onion chopped (optional)
  • 500g PlantVita Cremini or Button Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. dry white wine (optional)
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper (as per taste)

Let’s get cooking: 

  1. Heat butter & oil in a large pan over medium-high heat, saute the onion until softened
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until golden and crispy on the edges
  3. Pour the wine and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Add thyme, 1 tbsp. of parsley & garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant
  5. Season generously with salt & pepper (to your taste)
  6. Sprinkle with remaining parsley & serve warm
